Aircraft Maintenance Technician Apprentice

Are you looking for a career change that offers on-the-job training to learn a new trade?  C&L Aviation Services, a C&L Aviation Group company, is looking to fill several apprentice positions in our Bangor MRO hangar.


C&L Aviation Services, a growing regional air carrier and corporate aircraft depot-level maintenance, repair, and overhaul company located in Bangor, ME is seeking individuals with maintenance aptitude/background to join our team and develop skills necessary for a lifelong career under the supervision of qualified FAA licensed technicians.

Responsibilities include developing and maintaining the skills required to perform aircraft maintenance under the guidance of aircraft maintenance technicians and working towards FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification. Full ‘on the job’ training will be given to successful candidates.


What you will learn:

  • Depot-level aircraft maintenance procedures for several corporate and regional aircraft types
  • How to complete scheduled aircraft inspections
  • How to perform maintenance on aircraft airframes, engines, landing gear, etc.
  • Corporate and Regional commercial aircraft modifications
  • All other skills necessary to become a certified A&P Mechanic

Requirements: Candidate must have previous experience with maintaining mechanical equipment using various handheld tooling either through hobby or work.  Must have HS diploma or equivalent, be able to read and write in the English language and pass FAA-mandated pre-employment & random drug and alcohol testing.

This is a full-time, paid apprenticeship program with a salary increase after A&P certification.
