C&L Aviation Services (A C&L Aviation Group company) is looking for an Assembly Technician with experience in landing gears overhaul and repair. Our Repair Station specializes in overhauling and repairing aircraft landing gears and components. We are seeking talented and dedicated team members to join our family.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform overhaul and/or repairs of landing gear, components, and assemblies of various types of commercial and regional platforms.
- Remove and install bushings, sides, and honing.
- Perform dimensional inspections using various types of precision measuring equipment.
- Rework damaged parts within documented repair schemes, such as blending, sanding, polishing, etc.
- Interprets technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints.
- Ability to operate various test equipment for hydraulic, air, and electrical applications.
- assembly and installation of replacement parts.
- Operate all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignments.
- Complete all required maintenance records.
- Accurately record labor time worked on component work orders.
Job Requirements
- Extensive Technical experience in landing gear facilities
- Minimum 5 years of experience assembling commercial and regional landing gear.
- Ability to operate under pressure and fulfill deadlines.
- FAA Airframe and Power plant desired.
- Interprets technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints.
- Ability to collaborate well with all team members.
- High school graduate or equivalent
