Component Shop Manager

Position Summary

C&L Aviation Services, a C&L Aviation Group company, located in Bangor, Maine, is currently seeking a manager to oversee its growing aviation component repair business. In this position, the Component Shop Manager will be responsible to lead the Component Shop team to meet strategic goals, performance objectives, and budgeted sales and profit targets.

Job Description

  • Provides leadership that promotes the company’s core values along with cultivating employee growth for advancement
  • Ensure compliance with Repair Station Manual, AS9100, AS9110 and other applicable standards
  • Provide overall quality control and monitoring of all mechanics for consistency
  • Monitoring daily operations to maximize efficiencies to meet delivery guarantees while maintaining employees well being
  • Cultivate customer relations through reporting and various communication means to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Develop and administer annual budget activities ensuring company objectives and goals are achieved for the Component Shop
  • Monitor and coordinate staffing needs with the Recruiting Department

Job Requirements

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant License a plus
  • Minimum of 5 supervisory / management experience
  • Minimum of 10 years aircraft maintenance or component repair
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Must be detail oriented and possess strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficient typing and cognitive skills
