C&L Aviation Group is a participating member of the SkillBridge Program, a government initiative that allows service members to gain valuable civilian work experience during their final months of active duty. It enables service members to participate in internships, apprenticeships, or other job training opportunities with approved civilian employers.
Through the Skillbridge program, service members can explore career paths and acquire practical skills that align with their military training. The program aims to enhance the service members’ transition from the military to the civilian workforce by providing them with hands-on experience and exposure to different industries.
The major benefits of the Skillbridge program:
- Service members continue to receive their military pay and benefits while participating.
- The Program is open year-round
- Positions are available for those with and without advanced degrees
The Skillbridge program is administered by the Department of Defense (DoD) and is open to all eligible service members, including those in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard.
By participating in Skillbridge, service members can acquire the necessary skills and experience to excel in their chosen civilian careers, including opportunities in industries such as aviation, technology, healthcare, finance, and more.
