BANGOR, Maine – C&L Aviation Group, a global aviation services, and aftermarket support provider for regional and corporate aircraft, is celebrating its 25-year anniversary. The company, which started with humble beginnings in 1994 is now a one-stop solution for customers all over the globe, specializing in parts, support programs, maintenance, aircraft refurbishment, aircraft engineering, modifications, and aircraft sales and re-marketing.
“The last 25 years have had plenty of challenges, but it’s humbling to have so many amazing people here who are so dedicated and are continually striving to satisfy our customers,” said C&L CEO Chris Kilgour.
Kilgour started the company from his basement in Brisbane, Australia, selling aircraft parts to the Australian Air Force before making a global name for the company in the Saab 340 aftermarket parts business. In 2010 he expanded into maintenance with the acquisition of Telford Aviation in Bangor, ME. Since then the company has grown to over 250 employees with warehouses and sales office around the globe and a 140,000 Sq. Ft. Facility in Bangor Maine. The company now offers parts and services on many aircraft types, both corporate and regional, and specializes in ERJ 135/145, ATR 42/72, Saab 340, Dash-8, CRJ 200/700, Challenger 601-604, Hawker 800, Beechjet 400, Citations and more.
“We have experienced exceptional growth over the last few years and plan on that continuing as we continue to build our vertically integrated aviation company,” Kilgour said.
