Component-Shop Technician – Second Shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM)

C&L Aviation Services is currently seeking a full-time Component-Shop Technician to join our team on second shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM). This position involves performing component-based maintenance, repair, and inspections in our Component Shop under the direct supervision of FAA-certified Aircraft Technicians. No prior aviation experience is required—we’re looking for motivated individuals with mechanical aptitude and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist licensed Technicians with servicing, maintenance, and component modifications
  • Perform tasks efficiently to meet deadlines and performance goals
  • Accurately complete all necessary documentation in compliance with FAA, customer, and company requirements
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including tools and equipment
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Hands-on mechanical repair experience in any industry
  • A strong desire to learn and grow in the aviation field
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
  • Commitment to productivity, safety, and high-quality workmanship
  • Ability to follow directions, procedures, and safety regulations
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, work in confined spaces, and safely climb ladders with loads up to 25 pounds
  • Valid driver’s license
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Additional Information:
  • This is a second shift position, with working hours from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM.
  • Employment is contingent upon passing a DOT-mandated pre-employment drug test and participation in random drug and alcohol testing throughout employment.
