Entry-Level Service Technician

C&L Aviation Services, a C&L Aviation Group company based in Bangor, Maine, is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Entry Level Service Technicians. This role provides hands-on experience supporting aircraft mechanics doing maintenance and modification and component-based maintenance within our FAA-certified repair station. No prior aviation experience is required; we are looking for dependable individuals with mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.

Job Responsibilities
  • Follow all safety procedures
  • Document all work performed
  • Work effectively with other mechanics
  • Follow instructions and established procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized working environment
Job Requirements
  • Basic working knowledge of hand tools.
  • Strong comprehension skills
  • Ability to read and understand maintenance manuals
  • Basic problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to perform effectively in stressful situations
  • Reliable attendance; punctual and ready to work
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Ability to safely work in uneven or confined spaces
  • Ability to safely climb ladders while carrying up to 25 pounds
Additional Information
  • Employment is contingent upon passing a DOT-mandated pre-employment drug test
  • Participation in random drug and alcohol testing is required throughout employment
