Inventory and Repair Specialist

C&L Aerospace, a C&L Aviation Group company, has an immediate opening for an inventory and repair specialist. In this position, the right candidate will work as part of a team to manage the day-to-day activities of the company’s inventory and repair department which includes working with vendors to source, track, and find solutions for aircraft parts all over the globe.

Job Responsibilities
  • Create and manage repair orders for aircraft components, ensuring timely processing from induction through completion and return to stock
  • Track open repair orders and follow up with vendors to maintain accurate status, pricing, and estimated completion dates
  • Coordinate with approved repair stations to obtain quotes, lead times, and technical evaluations
  • Review repair orders for potential warranty coverage and assist with warranty claim processing when applicable
  • Communicate repair costs and turnaround times to internal departments including Sales, Purchasing, and Management
  • Assist in evaluating repair vs. replace decisions based on cost, availability, and operational needs
  • Maintain accurate records of repair activity within the ERP/MRP system
  • Support vendor communication regarding billing, credits, and payment terms related to repair activity
  • Monitor inventory levels for repairable components to ensure timely induction and minimize downtime
  • Assist with purchase orders related to repairs, exchanges, or outside services as required
  • Review inventory across multiple warehouse locations to support repair planning and stock availability
  • Work with the Repairs Manager to prioritize workload based on operational and customer requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Repairs Manager
