Shift Inspector (RII)

C&L Aviation Services, a C&L Aviation Group company, is seeking skilled RII Shift Inspectors to join our expanding facility in Bangor, Maine. This is a great opportunity to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where precision, safety, and quality are our highest priorities.

Job Responsibilities
  • Reading and interpretation of aerospace drawings, aviation manuals, test procedures, and aerospace standards per OEM, aviation authorities, and repair station requirements
  • Complying with Internal and External customer RII requirements.
  • Auditing Work Order Packages as necessary
  • Ensuring inspections are performed I.A.W. RSM, FAA, and other regulatory organization requirements.
  • Other tasks as required
Job Requirements
  • Ideal Candidates should have 5-7 years of related aviation experience
  • Airframe and Powerplant certification
  • Prior inspection experience is a plus
  • Prior military experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of inspection procedures and use of measuring tools
  • Strong communication skills
  • Positive attitude towards productivity, safety, and quality maintenance
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to take on responsibility
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to follow directions, policies, and procedures
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly, move safely in uneven and confined spaces, and safely climb ladders while carrying 25 pounds
